First Words!!

Addie started saying "Dada" this weekend. She now says it over and over. She calls her toys and her tags "Dada". She seems to be calling everything Dada. Her ability to imitate sounds is really developing. We are soo happy! Our little girl is growing up so quickly.

Portraits!

Addie had her 6 month old portraits today. She had such a great time. We are very happy with how they turned out. We love her more every day!

Carrots!

Addie had carrots for the first time today. She has been eating cereal for about 2 weeks now. She doesn't really like the cereal, but she can eat it when she is hungry enough. Getting her to eat the carrots was interesting! Most of it was on her face, head, or fingers. At te beginning, she stuck her toungue out and sounded like she was gagging. By the end, she was liking it and eating pretty well.

5 Months old! 17 lbs 2 oz.

Addie is already 5 months old. Today she weighs 17 lbs 2 oz. She has been kicking her legs for months, but has now discovered that she can flap her arms. She loves to eat her socks and her toes. Her favorite thing to do is chew on tags (like her cousin Audrey). Her favorite morning activity is to sit in the kitchen and watch Marley. They are becoming friends. Marley entertains her with his various noises. Marley brings her all of his toys and is a little confused as to why she doesn't play with him. He gets excited when she comes home and loves to smell her. She is going to day care two days a week for about 4 hours a day. She loves going and smiles when she sees her friends.

After lots of pressure from family, we have finally started a blog to share our pics of Addie. She is almost five months old. She loves to talk, sing, dance, and be held. She is playful and laughs all day. We will try to post pics often, but no promises!
